1.25G 850nm SFP Transceiver
SFP optical modules inherit the hot-swappable characteristics of GBIC, and also draw on the advantages of SFF miniaturization. Using the LC head, its volume is only 1/2 to 1/3 of the GBIC module, which greatly increases the port density of network equipment and adapts to the trend of rapid development of the network, so it has the widest range of applications.
The 1000BASE-SX SFP, compatible with the IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-SX standard, operates on legacy 50 μm multimode fiber links up to 550m and on 62.5μm Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI)-grade multimode fibers up to 220m. It can support up to 1km over laser-optimized 50 μm multimode fiber cable.
